Privacy policy
Glow Stack Australia ("we") handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Order details: your name, delivery address, email address, phone number and the products you order.
- Payment references: the payment reference for your order. Cards are processed on our payment provider's secure checkout; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Messages: anything you send us by email or phone.
- Site usage: basic technical data such as browser type, pages viewed and approximate location, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
Why we collect it
To process and deliver your order, send order and dispatch emails, run standing orders you set up, answer your questions, meet our legal and tax obligations, prevent fraud, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We only send marketing emails if you opt in, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers needed to run the store: our delivery carrier (name, address and phone for delivery), our website host and email provider, our card payment and checkout provider, and our analytics provider. We may disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
Overseas disclosure
Some of these providers store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to the Australian Privacy Principles.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses cookies to keep your cart working and, where enabled, analytics cookies to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the cart needs them to function.
How we protect it
The site runs over HTTPS. Access to order data is limited to the people who need it to fulfil orders. We keep order records for as long as tax law requires (currently five years) and delete or de-identify information we no longer need.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing hello@glowstackaustralia.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
